Role Overview
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the Regional Manager role is to assist the IT department with delivering technology scheduling and roll outs on mass for stores in the business. The role will also help support ad-hoc work such as proof of concept initiatives and ad hoc IT installations. The role will be responsible for the end to end delivery of any given roll out project, creating, executing and implementing project schedules, with successful service transition into support teams.
Accountabilities and Tasks:
To be responsible for the planning and management of technology roll outs to the business.
· Successfully manage and deliver a number of project roll outs in the retail environment.
· Control and manage documentation and reporting to support all assigned project roll outs
· Oversee any issues through to resolution using RAID methodology.
· Produce and maintain plans and schedules for rollouts.
· Managing risks and escalating to management.
· Manage Small Works and IT operational projects.
· Be responsible for regular comms to stores and stakeholders.
· Transition new technology and rollouts into IT support.
· Create budgets for rollouts and maintain accurate cost tracking.
· Manage and gather requirements for rollouts.
· Produce weekly operational reports and project highlight reports.
· European and UK wide travel to complete scope and trial visits.
· Hold stakeholder meetings (rollouts).
· Management of any project related Risks, Issues and Change Requests.

· A valid UK passport.
· A valid UK driving license.
· Ability to liaise with, and relate to, a broad spectrum of individuals
Preferable
· Experience working in a retail environment.
· Experience working in a projects environment.
· Understanding of software tools such as Microsoft Project , excel and Visio.
· Understanding the business drivers (e.g. tangible, intangible benefits)
· Engineering experience but not essential as training is provided.
