Role Overview : |
The purpose of this role is to be responsible for leading the strategy, growth and execution of JD Sport’s YouTube and social channels. The desire is to make the channels the go-to destination for youths in the sports lifestyle sector.
You will define and execute the strategy across the JD sports channels. This will include a data orientated approach, combined with a creative mindset to optimise all organic, paid and community content.
Working closely with Heads of Fascia, social media and the YouTube team, you will focus on driving growth of our social media and YouTube community. Driving affinity, engagement, share of voice and positive sentiment to deepen brand love, drive awareness, site traffic and overall sales to deliver on pre-determined KPIs.
To share expert knowledge across community management, organic growth, content creation and relevant paid social platforms is essential, as well as the ability to address continually changing business and market conditions.
Be the go-to point of contact for all things social media and YouTube related, working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders and departments to make sure all projects are seamlessly joined, creating high quality multi-platform campaigns
Key partner relations must be maintained with all major social media platforms and Google to ensure continual innovation and improvement across all accounts.
