Role overview:
These brand-new roles are an excellent opportunity to learn about the end-to-end lifecycle of retail and customer orders through the Kingsway DC and make a real difference to our service levels. Fulfilment is at the heart of what we do as a Distribution Centre – the role of the Fulfilment Co-ordinator is to champion this, with particular focus on automated picking areas.
Responsibilities:
Releasing of Internet customer orders and Retail store orders and into the WMS systems
Liaising with the operational teams in each functional area of the DC to achieve service level agreements and fulfilment targets
Champion fulfilment for automated pick areas – including system configuration and parameters
Ensuring aged and outstanding picks are minimised
Effective handovers to oncoming team
Identifying fulfilment improvement opportunities
Skills and Experience:
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communications skills, both written & verbal
PC literate, with the ability & willingness to learn & become expert in new systems
Warehouse Management system use
Experience of large-scale operations
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues & stakeholders
Able to influence and also work as a team
