Sales Operations Executive

REPORTING TO: Sales Manager

LOCATION: Wigan Head Office

 

Purpose of the Role:

The Sales Operations Executive provides ongoing commercial, analytical and tactical support to the JD Gyms estate postopening.

 

The role focuses on trading performance, CRM accuracy, campaign execution and intervention activity, supporting gyms to hit monthly sales targets and responding quickly to emerging risks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Sales Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor daily and monthtodate sales performance across all live JD Gyms.
  • Track performance versus targets and identify underperformance early.
  • Provide clear performance insights to the Sales Manager for leadership reporting.

 

Tactical Sales Interventions

Execute targeted interventions including:

  • Followup campaigns
  • Referral initiatives
  • Offer adjustments
  • Sales recovery activity
  • Support gyms during promotional periods and tactical sales pushes.

 

CRM & Data Quality

  • Ensure operational accuracy across promotional pricing, offers and campaign data.
  • Support reporting on conversion rates, campaign effectiveness and sales trends.

 

CrossFunctional Coordination

  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure campaigns launch smoothly and support sales objectives.
  • Support escalation and resolution of salesrelated and member queries through HO routes.
  • Provide cover and operational support to the Commercial Director when required.

 

Corporate & Bulk Sales Support

  • Manage new and existing corporate relationships, including bulk membership enquiries.
  • Support onboarding and coordination of corporate signups postopening.

 

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in sales operations, commercial support or revenue analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident stakeholder communicator across sales, marketing and operations.
  • Experience working in a multisite or multibrand environment.

 

Measures of Success

  • Achievement of monthly sales targets across the estate.
  • Reduction in sales performance volatility through early intervention.
  • Accuracy and reliability of CRM data and reporting.
  • Successful execution of sales campaigns and interventions.
  • Effective support to leadership decisionmaking through insight.
