Marketplaces Channels Manager

You will be responsible for JD outdoor marketplace external channel proposition, which includes marketplaces such as Amazon, B&Q, Secret sales, Ebay amongst others. This is a central job role with an opportunity to drive real revenue and work on an enterprise level P&L.

You will work in managing the catalogue on various marketplaces, ensuring smooth operation and order flow and growing sales with a channel optimisation approach. Ensuring new products are listed correctly, with optimisations on marketplace platforms, which will require a good understanding of operating at scale with data.

Comfortable in using Helium 10 for Amazon optimisation, and the ability to list products on various platforms using flat files/offer files.

This will involve communicating to the wider business on commercial performance of the accounts through reporting and presentations.

It will require a high level of Excel skill, basic knowledge of APIs would be helpful, no coding required.

JD Outdoor marketplaces sells hundreds of famous brands with thousands of SKUS. You will need the ability to be able to operate at a scale. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the marketplace arena working with Buying team and Ecom team in selling product.

You will report directly to the Head of Marketplaces and have ownership of a team

Job Duties

  • Manage the overall external Marketplace proposition on various selling platforms from Order flow, Seller fulfilled Prime metrics, Revenue, Paid/sponsored ads
  • Oversee/line manage 1 Executive and 1 Junior developer in maintain the connections, uploading products
  • Manage Paid Advertising strategies on Amazon and comfortable in using Amazon Ad console
  • Liaising with our partners at Amazon and various platforms in driving revenue and growth with our extensive catalogue
  • Explore new platforms and present business cases for new opportunities on new or established entrants in the market, then be responsible in managing their integration
  • Organise and manage operations for Tier 1 Sales events on Amazon such as Prime Day
  • Prepare reports for the wider business on performance on categories and products
  • Develop a product launch process to give our new products the correct level of exposure and paid strategy
  • Analyse trends and implement the trading events from the business on to the marketplaces
  • Maintain seller health metrics on platforms to ensure we comply with different marketplace SLAs
